The Grand Forks Republican Women’s Association is hosting the 2011 Grand Forks Holiday Home Tour, and no matter your political affiliation these are two days of fun with a holiday party (added this year), you don’t want to miss. I plan to attend and share lots of great photos!
Six festively adorned homes will be open for tours on both Saturday, December 3 (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) and Sunday December 4 (12 noon-5 p.m.). Each will feature the creativity of local designers: All Seasons; The Rose Shop; Designs by Nord; Modern Plains Design; Michelle Bloom Interiors; Just Add Water (Brooke Roche Conlin); and Sadie’s Couture Floral & Event Styling.
In conjuction with the home tour, a bake sale and wreath sale will be hosted at the Myra Museum, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 2405 Belmont Road.
New to the tour this year is a reception for all ticket holders from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 3. Celebrate the beginning of the season overlooking the city at the party – hosted on the 5th floor of the historic SEI Building (4th Street and DeMers Avenue) in beautiful downtown Grand Forks. Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar are being provided by some of Grand Cities’ favorite places to eat like Little Bangkok, Speedway, Jake’s, Rhombus Guys, Joe Black’s, Sarah’s Sweet Boutique, Bob’s Quality Catering, Mama Maria’s and the Grand Forks Country Club. It’s the party to kick-off the holiday season! You don’t want to miss it! Your Home Tour ticket gets you into this party!
Tickets are only $20 (pre-sale) and $25 the day of the event. Tickets may be purchased at these local businesses: All Seasons; The Rose Shop; Plains Chiropractic & Acupuncture; Ferugson Books & Media; Norby’s Work Perks; and Waterfront Kitchen & Bath. Tickets will also be sold on Saturday, December 3, at the Myra Museum. Tickets for the party only ($25) may be purchased at the door. Questions may be e-mailed to email@example.com. More details may be found online at www.gfhometour.com or on Facebook at Grand Forks Holiday Home Tour.
